Dr Andy Goodwin has been appointed Non-Executive Director and will transition to Senior Scientific Advisor, while Mr Paul Ladislaus has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The appointments are expected to bolster delivery of Company’s corporate growth strategy
Dr Goodwin joined First Graphene in 2017 initially as a Technical Advisor before becoming CTO in September 2018. He led the launch of the company’s PureGRAPH® products, established the UK R&D and marketing capabilities and has supported multiple customer engagements.
Andy Goodwin has extensive leadership experience with Sanofi, Dow Corning Corporation and Thomas Swan & Co. Ltd. He has a PhD in polymer chemistry and an MTE Diploma from the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. Andy has been actively involved in the development of the graphene materials industry since 2012. He is based in Manchester, UK.
Mr Paul Ladislaus (MA MEng CEng MIChemE VR) will assume the role of CTO effective from 1 July 2020. He joined the company in November 2018 as Senior Process Engineer and has since led manufacturing process upgrades, product quality programmes and R&D projects in rubber, plastics and supercapacitor technologies.
Paul Ladislaus is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK. He has 20 years of experience in a range of operational, design and R&D roles within the Speciality Chemicals Industry – most notably with Huntsman and Thomas Swan & Co. He is based in Manchester, UK.
