VORTEX FLUIDIC TECHNOLOGY
Research Vortex Fluidic Device
The vortex fluidic device (VFD) enables new methods for manufacturing a wide range of materials such as graphene, graphene oxide and tailored carbon nanotubes.
2D Fluidics Pty Ltd was launched to commercialise the VFD and is 50% owned by First Graphene Ltd. and 50% by Flinders Institute for NanoScale Science and Technology.
2D Fluidics uses the VFD and related technology to prepare graphene oxide and carbon nanotube materials for commercial sale and supply to the plastic industry and the electronic industry for applications such as circuits, supercapacitors and batteries.
